As Jewish life at Cornell continues to grow, so does the need for additional staff, expanded programming, and greater opportunities to connect with students on a personal level.
In October 2026, we welcomed Rabbi Mendel and Chana Sneiderman to the Chabad at Cornell team, with a focus on engaging new students, building meaningful relationships, and developing exciting new programs. Living on North Campus, the Sneidermans will divide their time between activities at the main Chabad Center and smaller, more personalized gatherings hosted in their home at 307 Wait Avenue.
At the same time, Chabad is expanding its kitchen and food preparation team to streamline the production of meals for our growing Shabbat gatherings, weekly classes, and student programs.
Your support will help us invest in the people who make it all possible, enabling Chabad to reach more students, strengthen personal connections, and meet the growing needs of Jewish life at Cornell.
