It is a great mitzvah and the main event of Rosh Hashana to hear the shofar being blown.
We will be only be blowing the shofar on the second day of Rosh Hashana as the first day is Shabbat and we do not blow the shofar when Rosh Hashana falls on Shabbat. The shofar will be blown during the service at around 12:30pm at Chabad, September 13th 2026.
We will also be blowing the shofar on demand starting at 4:30pm - 6pm on Ho Plaza (central campus) on Sunday, September 13th. You can also come to Chabad any time in the afternoon on Sunday before sunset and someone will blow the shofar for you.
